PROJECT OVERVIEW
In the fall of 2020 SFS assumed maintenance on all of All Saints' natural grass athletic fields and the entire grounds surrounding school buildings and athletic facilities. The fields were in good shape, but the SFS maintenance team knew they could really make them shine. The team quickly implemented best practices through mowing, fertilization, aeration, and IPM - and the fields began to quickly improve. Lead by Turf Manager Evan Ontiveros - the crew manages a total of 7 athletic fields and oversees school grounds maintenance, which is performed by a mobile crew weekly.
SCOPE
PROBLEM
All Saints' is a premier private school in Fort Worth. While their sports fields were playable before Sports Field Solutions joined, they wanted to take them to the next level.
SOLUTION
We deployed an experienced SFS groundskeeper who has over 4 years experience working both city owned fields and Division 1 University Fields. We paired him with our talented mobile maintenance team to help maintain the rest of the campus. We began seeing significant improvement within a few weeks of being on-site.
