SOLUTION
Due to the timeframe of growing Bentgrass, we had to plant during late summer which can be difficult due to Bentgrass being heat sensitive. Keeping a consistent watering schedule helped the plant survive the heat.
PROBLEM
Shortly after the first week of grow-in, the new Bentgrass got infested with a disease called Pythium Damping-off. The putting greens were treated with a fungicide, and we limited the damage to only twenty percent loss throughout the two greens.

GET IN TOUCH
The winter storm of 2021 caused 2 Miniverde greens to die to the point of no recovery. ACU and SFS made the decision to change the grass types on those greens to Bentgrass. 9000 square feet of Bermuda were changed out to Bentgrass. Due to an event, that new grass was killed and needed to be revived.
